Family members can attest that I was born with a paintbrush in one hand and a doll in the other! I have wanted to be an artist since I could hold a crayon. In my teen years, I had great aspiration to be a Fashion Designer and attended classes at Perkins Art Centre, University of the Arts and Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.
I hold a Bachelor degree in Graphics and Photography, and was trained at Drexel University, and Moore College of Art and Design.
I worked in the music business on the art end creating album cover designs, photography, t-shirts, promotional packages, and one of a kind portraits. I have also worked as an Art Director and Graphic Artist for a international toy company, in the Product Graphics Department, and blessed to be involved with the graphics for several of Disney's Little Mermaid doll products.
One of a Kind Dolls are the culmination of many of the things I love! I love sharing my art with you! Thank you so much for looking!
May the Lord bless you!
One of a Kind Dolls since 2006. Fantaisie wigs since January 2009.
First and foremost, I am a Christian. My desire is to create One of A Kind Dolls created with the highest quality artist materials and fine detail. There is no other artist that I know of that can paint a palette as glorious as an Autumn sunset, a design so intricate and masterful as the human body, or create such beauty and diversity in all of humanity throughout all of the nations of the earth. My art is merely a reflection of the beauty that my Saviour and Creator has made!
Above all, gratitude to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, without whom I could do nothing!
Thank you to my dear, supportive husband, Zor, and precious children~ S., J., J., B., and N.; my friends and family who have encouraged me and prayed for me; my parents, for recognizing my art ability and giving me formal training; Robert Tonner for his beautiful dolls and fashions; Haute Doll Magazine ~ for the spotlight on ANGELS Doll Studio in June 2008; Dollyhair.com; RestoreDoll.com; Shiloh's hand-made jewelry; Lisa Gates and Laurie Everton~ for the countless emails and questions you answered about repainting; to the Prego community~ for friendship and support, and the many people who have sold me dolls; and especially my faithful patrons, whom I also consider as friends, and the many wonderful people who have bought my dolls.
