Guineviere
8th in a series ~ Ladies of Literature.
Legends of King Arthur
Inspired by legends of King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table from the pages of de Troys,
Malory and Tennyson.
Eyes reflecting the colors of the Celtic countrysides feature shades of green with highlights of burnt sienna and white. Iris is rimmed in deep forest. Eyes are shadowed with a frosted apricot, warm sienna, and pearl. Eyes lined with pine, sienna and frosty coal. Lips in a frosted maple sugar. A soft whisper of freckles kiss her face.
Guineviere's hair was taken down from its original style and bronze saran was added as highlights to give her a Celtic fire. Her hair was side parted, rolled back, and secured in a Renaissance braid with deep red and gold embroidery floss. Soft curls were left to fall upon her face.
Like souls that balance joy and pain, With tears and smiles from heaven again The maiden Spring upon the plain Came in a sunlit fall of rain. In crystal vapor everywhere Blue isles of heaven laugh'd between, And far, in forest-deeps unseen, The topmost elm-tree gather'd green From draughts of balmy air. ALFRED, LORD TENNYSON
